That's the exhilarating challenge posed by Kino Caen, a renowned film creation festival that pushes filmmakers to their creative limits. This high-energy event attracts visionary artists eager to turn raw ideas into polished cinematic gems under an intense deadline.
For our film, we embraced a direct, no-nonsense approach, diving deep into the psyche of our central male character. Our goal was to strip away the superficial and expose his most profound desires, fears, and motivations. By focusing on this raw, unfiltered exploration, we aimed to create a narrative that resonates with authenticity and emotional intensity.
Kino Caen’s format forced us to think on our feet and make swift, decisive creative choices. The constraints of the festival fueled our innovation, pushing us to harness every ounce of our creativity and technical skill.
